What is SASSA fraud?
SASSA fraud is any act that is intended to deceive SASSA into paying a grant to someone who is not entitled to it. This includes: <ul><li>Applying for a grant with false information.</li><li>Not telling SASSA about changes in your circumstances.</li><li>Someone else using your SASSA card without your permission.</li><li>Moneylenders taking your SASSA card as security for a loan.</li></ul>

How to report fraud
If you suspect that someone is committing SASSA fraud, you should report it immediately. You can report fraud in any of the following ways: <ul><li>Call the SASSA toll-free fraud hotline on 0800 60 10 11.</li><li>Report it to your nearest police station.</li><li>Report it to your nearest SASSA office.</li></ul>
