SASSA August 2026: Grant Review Payments on 7 August — What to Know

SASSA has announced that beneficiaries whose grants are under review will receive their August payment on Friday, 7 August 2026 — the fourth payment day, not the standard three-day cycle.

What to Do If Your Grant Is Under Review

If you did not receive payment on your usual date (4, 5, or 6 August):

1. Do not panic — this means your grant is flagged for review
2. You will be paid on Friday, 7 August
3. Visit your nearest SASSA office during August to complete the review process
4. Bring your ID and any supporting documents requested

If your grant was flagged for review, you must complete the review process during August 2026 to avoid payment suspension in September. Visit your SASSA office as soon as possible.
